HE IS LARGE AND IN CHARGE…..
Mr. Lacey is all settled in at home. He is happy, assertive and ready to continue the BIG SHOW. He and Carol have already hit the town. Eric's not content to sit at home - he wants to get out and visit. He impressed all the Kroger employees (his favorite shopping spot) yesterday when he showed up. Carol said they were all so excited to see him and so impressed with how well he's doing. We're still waiting to hear back from Lenox Baker (physical therapy) and Rose Manor (speech therapy) for his appointment times but he should start outpatient therapy next week. Home Health came in and basically confirmed that Carol was a registered nurse and knew what she's doing. ;) She passed the test and they're not coming back. We've got the medication schedule down pat. He's on 18 medications so it took a spreadsheet to organize it all.
Our house is open to any and all visitors. Don't think that it has to stop just because he's no longer in the hospital. He would love nothing more than to socialize. Come on and see us!
We visited everyone at Select before leaving the hospital Tuesday. The doctor there said Eric should be a motivational speaker, telling his miraculous story. What a great idea! I told him he should go into occupational or physical therapy or teaching. Either way, we all know something positive should come from this. It's an experience too precious not to share.

Long time no See! I was just invited to the golf tourney by Jeff Parker and I will be there. I had no idea what was going on with Eric until Jeff told me. You and your family will be in my prayers. I can't wait to meet Eric, he seems like a great person. Maybe we can catch up at the golf course. Talk to you soon.

I'm sooooo excited for you guys! It sounds like Eric is IN CHARGE, and that is so miraculous! I know he will just continue to blow everyone's mind with his speedy recovery! We will come by and see you guys in a few days. We want to make sure he is settled and rested from all the excitment of coming home before we visit. We love you all and we will see you soon.

Dear Eric & Rhonda,
This is just the greatest story to tell people. The Miracle Man on tour, now there is something I'd buy a ticket for :) I know you are so glad that Eric is finally home and within reach whenever you want to touch him (or pinch). We will continue our prayers for all of you. You are loved by so many!! Never forget we're here for you!
