Another great day!! Eric walked with assistance (this time I got to watch) and got to drink a yogurt drink! He spoons it into his mouth and turns his head to the right when swallowing. He gets it down the right pipe when he turns his head. :)
His gastro doc stopped in to see him today and was so amazed at Eric's progress. Its so cool to see folks reactions when they see him sitting there smiling back at them. I asked him if he had any idea what a miracle it is to take steps again and he said no, he was just doing his best.
He sent ME flowers to the hospital today for Mother's day. I couldn't believe it. What a sweetie, huh? Speaking of that, Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there. We wish everyone a great weekend!

How exciting to see your progress Eric and your pictures are just AWESOME! It is great to see how well you are doing. We are praying for you and your continued recovery.
But now let's get to the real business, Eric you SOOOOO get HUSBAND of THE YEAR! You ROCK for sending Rhonda flowers for Mother's Day...okay men reading this blog, you have NO EXCUSE and BIG SHOES to FILL! Way to go Eric, taking care of your WOMAN! I know that just made Rhonda's world (along with seeing Keith Urban in TN....ooops sorry Rhonda, was that our secret?)Rhonda the only way your going to top the Mother's Day gift is if you hook Eric up with a "Hellooooo Ladies" beach towel to hang over the back of his wheelchair, now how "NUTTY" would that be....lol. Just remember Eric, even if you get a towel for Father's Day, Emmett still reigns SUPREME!
Really though we are thinking about all of you, take care guys and tell everyone we said hello!

Rhonda, Been out of touch for awhile. Computer problems. Glad to finally get back to check on Eric. This was the first thing I logged on to. I am so amazed at what God has done with Eric in the past few days. He looks so good with that smile back on his face. Thanks for the pictures, we are truly seeing prayers answered right before our very eyes. Can't wait to visit again as soon as we can. Tell Eric his HARD WORK is really paying off and keep it up! First of all......HAPPY MOTHERS DAY RHONDA!!! And second, it truly is a blessing to read how well Eric is progressing! Other then being 120 lbs, he looks soooo good! And that smile is PRICELESS!!
That was sooo sweet of him to send YOU flowers for Mothers Day! It's so heart warming to see Eric's determination to get better! God will continue to work miracles in his life as he already has! Tell Eric to keep up the good work! We love you guys!
