Eric's is showing a lot of improvement today. The antibiotics are doing their job regarding the bacterial infection in his lungs and his fever is gone. He's so much more alert today mouthing works to be...getting frustrated because I can't understand what he's saying.... :) He has gained some more weight (up to 151 lbs!) and is indeed the model patient. He's got "the hot nurse" today so I'm sure he's trying extra hard to make her happy. Hee hee! All in all it has been a great day with great progress! Still waiting on the MRI results but hopefully we'll know something tonight. His neurosurgeon is in surgery and I'm waiting on his visit to the ICU. Will update more later.

Hey Girl, been anxiously awaiting today's report. Glad to hear positive things! I hope Eric behaves himself with "nurse Goodbody"!!! And there is a great picture of him on the blog from the 80's. Is that a mullet?

Hey girlie! I'm so glad to read that Eric has made some good progress today! We know he will hit some valleys in this trial but there will be some mountains he climbs too, so we'll take anything that is positive!!! I can't wait to see you guys again! Tell Eric to hurry and get better, we are ready to go out and celebrate him conguering this battle! God is still in charge and we know he will pull him through this! We love you guys a lot and miss you too.

I've been so nervous waiting all day to find out how the "old man" is doing! Good news!! Why am I don't surprised about him trying to impress the good looking nurse :) Bill had his chemo port put in today and so far is doing good. Tell Eric to keep those baby step coming!! I just know the MRI news will be good. Love the pics. I'll have to find one to add to the show. Wish I had one of him in the red bikini he told us about :)

So glad to hear things are looking up and he's had a great day! I was on the road all day yesterday and thought about you guys and how things were going. Re: the Nurse --- he's such "an Eric" isn't he? haha Make sure you are taking care of yourself too! Love the pictures!!! We miss you at work :) Give Eric a hug from his sister - looking forward to the big party down the road! Love you guys!!!

I am so glad that there is some positive things, order the same nurse for tomarrow! I have been following the blog the last few days and I just want you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Tell Eric to hurry up and feel better it's getting warm.Please take care of yourself and know that there are so many people who have you guys held up in prayers. I know each day must be a climb for you but just hold on and breathe. Take care of yourself and I know there will be more good news!!!! God has your back :-)

Hey there Rhonda! So glad to read this post. I've been worried and couldn't wait so I broke down and called Amy. Thoughts and prayers for you all remain as constant as each new day comes! Eric is amazing... and this post... well, a post filled with relief and with a chuckle too, what could be finer! :o) THANKS!!
