Rhonda Writes-
Eric continues to get stronger. By the time I get to the hospital, he's worn out from Physical Therapy and all the activities of the day. They ordered him a special wheelchair today which they're hoping to get him in tomorrow. If he can get a little more mobile (sitting up more, etc) it will dramatically help with the secretions in his lungs. He has a follow up MRI tomorrow morning and a hip X-ray. The MRI is just for precaution and the hip X-ray is because he's experiencing pain when they do sit him up. The doctor thinks its bursitis.
Eric told me last night that he really misses the kids. I'm going to talk to his doctor tomorrow to see if we can bring the kids up for a quick visit. If he's in the wheelchair, they could possibly let the kids see him in their conference room. We'll see---keep your fingers crossed.
He can have visitors (a couple folks have sent emails inquiring) so if you'd like to drop in for a visit, feel free to! I'm sure it would lift his spirits. Eric's cousin Morgan left today. Jarrod is staying until Thursday. The kids are really enjoying having their cousins there. They've been having a ball. Little Zach and Bryce have been providing that baby fix that I need too!! :) I hope this update finds everyone well....

Hey guys...just reading my daily update and making sure Eric is OK! Please tell Eric I am thinking of him and I should see him next week. I am heading out of town to take little Eric to Washington DC for a school fieldtrip...See you soon.
Chris
My Friend!
Things just seem to get better every day. I'm sure a visit from the kids will help the cause. I can see it now, Eric chasing you down the halls in his wheel chair. Are you sure you want him mobile :)
Love you guys.
Kirsten
